KARACHI:
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Shah Sunday said
that general elections will be conducted by May 9 and its schedule will
be announced over the next 3 to 4 days.
He was talking to media persons here at the residence of former provincial minister of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Maqbool Shaikh.
To
a question, Khursheed Shah said the political scenario never remains
stagnant and in politics no one could be called a permanent friend or
foe.
He
said Pakistan People's Party-led government has completed its five-year
tenure and that it was up to the people to elect their next rulers in
the upcoming polls.
